Old Maps and Prints, Old Books and 19th Century Photographs of Palestine

Among the items in this auction are two pillars of the scientific revolution: Galileo's Discorsi a Dimonstrazioni Matematiche Intorno (#32-035), an extremely rare book published in Laiden in 1638 during the author's lifetime; and a third edition of Newton's Philosophiae Naturalis, Principia (#32-035). Both are from a private collection in China.


The auction also features maps (1-11), prints (12-19), other books (20-39) and photographs (43-185).
